What's On Offer $62-$66 per hour 54-hour weeks (Monday-Saturday) Strong pipeline of ongoing construction projects Local Perth-based role - home every night Temp-to-perm opportunities with a major employer Weekly pay Free onsite parking Modern, well-equipped fabrication facility Stable workshop environment - no weather delays or shutdown cancellations The Role Key duties include: Heavy fabrication and boilermaker duties Structural welding on large steel modules and heavy components Working from detailed engineering and fabrication drawings Marking out, cutting, notching, drilling, shaping and forming steel Maintaining correct and accurate MARK numbers on components Welding processes including MMAW, FCAW and MIG Adhering to quality control systems and fabrication standards Use of hand tools and forming machinery to complete fabrication tasks Essential Experience & Background We are specifically seeking tradespeople with: Australian Trade Certificate - Boilermaker/Welder Construction project experience (site-based) - mining or heavy industrial preferred Mechanically minded tradespeople with experience working on: Reclaimers Shiploaders Heavy machinery and mining infrastructure Strong structural steel fabrication experience Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings EWP, Forklift and Working at Heights (required) Strong safety focus and ability to work within structured project environments Highly Regarded: Rigger's Ticket This role suits experienced Boilermakers who come from heavy industry, mining construction, or large-scale structural projects and are looking for consistent local hours without FIFO.
